UPPER LADUE RD, ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, USA

Returning clients had purchased a beautiful 730 m2 house in St. Louis, Missouri after being relocated from NYC. The house had great bones, beautiful architectural features, and the potential for a stunning renovation. With this in mind, the goal of the project was to create a comfortable home for a family with young children that reflected the serene and relaxed style of the owners. Taking inspiration from traditional English houses, the bathrooms, kitchen and mudroom were completely transformed to a more modern look. To connect the kitchen with the breakfast area, the wall was replaced with a large glass partition, which echoed the traditional kitchens. Furniture, lighting, and fixtures were carefully selected, with some pieces shipped from London, to be mixed with family heirlooms, creating a classical yet modern atmosphere.
